With the recent rapid development of mechatronics products,
there is an ever-increasing demand for greater precision and reduced
size for a wide range of mechanisms.
Since its founding in 1960, KSS has widened its manufacturing scope from a
base of manufacturing technology in the ultra-precision field. Beginning with
thread gauges, our product line has grown to include precision lead screws,
precision miniature Ball Screws, as well as Standard Miniature Ball Screws,
products that have anticipated later demand.
KSS, as one of the exclusive Miniature Ball Screw manufacturer in
the world, has also been developing Unit products and systematic
products that are utilized Ball Screw technology.
We will continually strive to contribute to our global community
by enthusiastically committing ourselves to providing better products
at a lower price and in a short time.
What is the Ball Screw?
Ball Screw is composed of Shaft, Nut and Balls. Ball Screw is mechanical component, which converts rotary motion into linear motion.
What kinds of accuracy grade are there in Ball Screws?
Accuracy grade of Ball Screw is prescribed in JIS B1192-1997. There are 6 types of grade, which are class-0,1,3,5,7 and 10. The lower number of class is higher accuracy grade. Generally, the accuracy grade is described as “C” (class) + grade number, like C0,C1,C3,C5,C7 and C10.
Is there any restriction on size or length of Ball Screws?
The range of manufacturing for KSS Ball Screws is determined by 2 factors. One is the Shaft diameter, the other is total length for each Shaft diameter. Our manufacturing range is 1.8mm to 15mm of Shaft diameter, but 20mm of diameter will also be available as a special order
Can KSS calculate the Forward efficiency or Backward efficiency?
Forwarad/Backward efficiency is the ratio of Input and Output
